wish i could take the credit but, no...this was taken by friends who were in ambalavao for 4mos from france studying tropical agricultural techniques. They had the best accommodations in town, the penthouse of a 3-story 'hotel' with a large deck and incredible 360 degree views (the same place i stayed during my 4-day site-visit partway through training).
